Sports such as rugby and netball were the only outlets. The need to provide entertainment during the school holidays was critical, as there was no access to anything of that nature in a small rural village. She is artistic and creative and is responsible for writing scripts, teaching dancing, sewing costumes, and mentoring the youth. She has been actively involved in theatre and music with the children since 2018. Mat graduated from the London Musicians Institute in 1996.
